This year, our auction theme is “ART IS ESSENTIAL.” This theme focuses on how the process of creating art can help us cope wherever we may find ourselves, whether it be in a hospital room during an illness or injury, or at home during a worldwide pandemic. Recent events help us to understand that art can serve as a stress reliever and coping mechanism, not only for the incredible children we serve but for all of us. Online Bidding for this event will begin at Noon on Sunday, November 1st and will run an entire week. Online Bidding will close one week later at Noon on Sunday, November 8th. In order to bid, you must register for a ticket. We have both complimentary (free) and VIP ($20) tickets available. Several sponsorship levels are also available. Our featured event of the weeklong auction will be a live program taking place on Saturday, November 7th at 7 p.m. here on Facebook. This event will feature our host Sharia Benn, founder of Sankofa African American Theatre Company, along with Caitlin’s Smiles founder and director, Cheryl Hornung, plus other special guests. Sharia and Cheryl will guide us through the program and introduce videos featuring the children who have received Caitlin’s Smiles services and their process of creating the featured artwork for this event. The children’s featured artwork that is offered for bids on our OneCause/BidPal online bidding platform.

• VIP ticket ($20 each) … Our VIP ticket is guaranteed to make you smile! Your ticket will grant you access to the online auction bidding platform and you’ll receive a chance to win our “Huge Hershey Surprise” gift basket valued at $250. The basket includes many, many Hershey products and 2 tickets to Hersheypark good through 7/25/2021. Plus, we provide you with some snazzy Caitlin’s Smiles merchandise. The winner of the Hershey Basket Raffle will be announced during our LIVE Featured Event Show here on Facebook on Saturday, November 7th, starting at 7 p.m.

• $125=The Jumbo Coping Kit Box Sponsorship will not only make you smile, your sponsorship will send smiles to 50 kids receiving treatment in a hospital emergency department by providing them with our Copingkits. With this sponsorship, you receive 1 VIP ticket which includes all the bonuses that come with that ticket level.
• $250=The Colossal Craft Box Sponsorship will send smiles to 300 children receiving treatment at a hospital pediatric unit or day clinic. Plus, with this sponsorship you receive 2 VIP tickets, which includes all the bonuses that come with that ticket level.
• $500=The Mega Bag of Smiles Sponsorship builds 20 ‘Bags of Smiles’ for hospitalized children facing life-threatening and chronic illnesses. With this sponsorship, you receive 4 VIP tickets, which includes all the bonuses that come with that ticket level.
