Please, come celebrate another successful year of sending smiles to children in medical facilities! We invite you to attend one of our Holiday Open House Volunteer sessions taking place on December 1st, 2nd & 3rd at our office located at 3303 North Sixth Street, Harrisburg, PA 17110.
Attendees are required to register for the sessions by clicking here. Each 2-hour session is limited to 25 guests. There are 4 sessions over three days. Volunteers will have the opportunity to create greeting cards, decorate Bags of Smiles and assemble craft kits for the hospitalized children served by our organization.
Participants who bring supply donations will be entered into a raffle. For each item donated during the sessions, guests will receive a chance to win an Open House Prize.
Most Needed Items:
- Coloring books for all ages (30,000 are sent to the kids each year!)
- Puzzle books (Word Search, Crossword, Suduko, Mad Libs)
- Fun & Colorful stickers
- Jigsaw Puzzles (100 pieces or less)
In addition to volunteer opportunities, there is an online silent auction. The bidding will open on Black Friday and will close on Saturday, December 3rd. Click here to preview the auction. Plus, there will be a Holiday Gift Boutique set up on-site to offer in-person shopping. The boutique will offer a nice variety of jewelry and other small gift items available for purchase. The boutique will remain open through the holidays. All proceeds benefit the children served by Caitlin’s Smiles.
Complimentary packaged refreshments will be offered to those who attend the Holiday Open House volunteer sessions.
